Calvary Chapel

Cavary Chapel is a non-denominational church that grew out of the Jesus Revival in southern California in 1965. It was a small church led by Pastor Chuck Smith. He welcomed everyone to know the Lord, including a generation of hippies and surfers. By the power of the Holy Spirit what began as a small local church became a revolution, with thousands of ocean baptisms. Calvary Chapel is known for expository teaching, that is, teaching verse by verse beginning to end. We have grown to over 1700 churches all over the world. To God be the Glory!

Beliefs- 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness". Calvary Chapel is a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We believe in the one and only triune God. We believe Jesus died on the cross and ascended into heaven and by His death he atoned our sins. We are glorified, sanctified, and justified when we confess Jesus Christ as Savior, sealed in the Lamb's book of life. Thank you Jesus!
